Must be taken in conjunction with other university courses at the 3000 and 4000 level. Students must secure instructor permission of the course to which they wish to add this credit.
IDH 4940 Internship
Credits: 1 to 6; can be repeated for credit.
Experiential learning in a variety of work locations. Permission of program director required. Supervision by a faculty member or delegated authority, daily journal and a post-internship report are required. Must be taken S-U.
IDS 2935 Special Topics
Credits: 1 to 3; maximum 6 credits.
An introduction to selected interdisciplinary topics. Content varies from term to term.
IDS 4945 Washington Center Internship
Credits: 1 to 15; cannot be repeated.
Students who are accepted by the Washington Center in Washington, DC and obtain permission of the UF liaison participate in an internship for a summer or semester. A variety of settings related to various academic disciplines are available. A post-internship report is required. (S-U only)
IDS 4956 Overseas Studies
Credits: 1 to 15; can be repeated with change in topic up to 15 credits. Prereq: Permission of undergraduate adviser.
This revolving topics course provides a mechanism by which course work taken abroad as part of an approved student program can be recorded on the transcript and counted toward UF graduation.
